Travel Adventures Part II: Europe

And off we continue to EUROPE! Landed in London on Christmas day so not too much was happening where we were staying. We then headed to Calais for France to start another Topdeck tour. Best moment in Paris was riding around the city on bicycles; someone cut their head a bit on the paved roads so GREAT way to start a tour! Sitting with a kitty in a café; that was the cherry on top. Oh, and the LOUVRE!! bucket list TICKED! Then off we headed to Engelberg, Switzerland. Mount Titlis was the peak we were so fortunate to head up to… Continue reading

Travel Adventures Part I: America

Where do I start? Jeremy and I saved up for about 2 years to make this adventure happen and boy did I catch the travel BUG! Taking photos is my passion and there was no way I wasn’t documenting this trip. I hope you can feel and sense the sights and sounds through these images. We started our one month holiday in Los Angeles-I have travelled to Africa, to Dubai and Malaysia…but this was a jetlag I had never felt in my life! Had some time before our Topdeck tour started so off we went to Universal Studios in Hollywood…. Continue reading

Aaron + Jackie’s Wedding

These two know how to sacrifice for love! I used to work with Jackie years ago in the retail industry. Of course life happens and we moved on to different jobs but I am so glad Jackie hit me up to photograph her upcoming nuptials with her now husband Aaron. She is still the bubbly, friendliest and most caring girl and boy, I am so happy that she has found a deep love with Aaron! You know these two would die for each other and to have the two families and friends come together (from interstate, Adelaide) for this day is just that extra special! Here are some of my favourites from the day. A HUGE thank you to Vika for assisting on this day – can’t wait to see what this girl is capable of in her passions and creativity. Enjoy!

Ty + Maxine’s Wedding

The day had finally arrived! I remember catching up with Maxine quite a while ago when her and Ty had gotten engaged (Ty + Maxine’s Engagement Party), and the wedding seemed like a distant thing; but time is just flying by now that we’re all growing up, getting married and having kids etc! Such a beautiful day for what was torrential rain ALL WEEK!!! The heavens opened up and vibrant colours were streaming just in time for their wedding. I was able to capture the love and quirkiness of this awesome couple and their party of family and friends; good times were had by all! The bride was even still setting up the décor when it came to the reception! A modern flavour was added to the Chinese Tea Ceremony; such humble and sombre moments. Can’t wait to see this couple do amazing things now that their talents are under the one roof (Maxine has made the move to Melbourne to be with her hubby – makes total sense :P). Thanks for letting me document your memorable day Ty + Maxine, love you guys!

Winter in Queenstown

Seems to be an annual thing where we travel to different places during winter (see: Winter in Melbourne City). It’s something that is so needed for us as we get to pause on our busy schedules and fly away to spend some quality time without the extra buzz. I had never been to New Zealand before so off we went to the most tourist of all NZ destinations, Queenstown. By the time we landed, the snow was only covering the tips of the mountains; By the time we left the snow was about one-third down the mountains! The cold weather definitely took a turn fast (we were only there for 5 days)! Queenstown is naturally one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to yet; Crystal blue lake surrounded by gorgeous, green mountains. Because of Winter, the leaves were yellow, red warm colours and falling from the trees. We got to experience Fergburger & Fergbakery; oh man, their PIES are to die for!!! Also the local food and produce; we went on a River cruise farm & BBQ tour and visited Arrowtown. It was raining heavily by the time we visited Glenorchy, but we were still able to enjoy Queenstown and I was still able to take some snaps. We found a really cool trail on the side of a main road; litereally felt like we were in a scene from Twilight.Thank you Queenstown for your gorgeous, natural vibes & I hope you enjoy the snaps from this trip. Next Stop, AMERICA & EUROPE 2015-2016! Keep your eyes peeled!

P.S The very last photo is a collage of Jeremy crapping his pants on the sky rail (after that he was like a kid on the luge!)

Maxine’s Portfolio Shoot

This girl has the whole package – Is multi talented, has the looks, knows business & marketing, can draw and create…I could go on. Check out these images I had the pleasure of snapping around South Brisbane for her Website & Portfolio. Her art and product is clean, full of shapes, artistic, chic and modern; this is what I attempted to capture. I believe these shots portray Maxine and her style & product. I love that we still keep in contact after High School and can’t wait to capture Ty & Maxine’s wedding next month! She’s a keeper 😉 enjoy!

Varani Family Shoot

What a pleasure to see Jo + Hannah again after having done their Maternity Shoot! This time, little baby Mali is here! What a joy to capture the Varanis joined by Hannah’s mum and Jo’s brother! So great to see both sides uniting as one family with little baby Mali being the centre focus of their love. It’s been a rough past year for the Varani’s but having hope & love always in their midst encourages them to move forward together as a family! They really do ooze out His peace and presence in their everyday. Was so good to come back to the ranch where we shot their maternity photos the family home Hannah grew up in, and having their beloved animals joining in on some of the fun (cute dogs – also take note of Hannah’s 20 year old cat!). Some of the shots also included Mali wearing Hannah’s baby dress, such a cute tradition to pass down to your own daughter. The deer on top of the Block letter M is also a treasured figurine of Hannah’s when she was a little girl. Mali is also a super cutie and cannot wait to see their family extended! Thank you for letting me capture these moment Varanis!
