Where the Wild Things Are ➳ Our Baby Shower

For those who don’t know yet, Jeremy & I are expecting our very own wild thing early April! My sister Lisa threw us a memorable, creative and fun baby shower (What a blessing sisters are!). I am currently at 33 weeks and everybody just can’t wait to meet our little guy.  We have been married for 4.5 years so we figured it was time… so did everybody else! (I was adamant on travelling before starting our family!) The date of the party just happens to be exactly 5 years after our Engagement party! – February 18th 2012 so it was just meant to be. We also just had our maternity photos taken by the beautiful Ethereal Photography team and we just love how they captured this moment for us (you can see some of the photos in the below frames). Big thanks also to JoJo’s Treat House for the eyegasmic woodland cake! Enjoy the snaps I managed to get of the decor before the wild rumpus began!

New Zealand ~ South Island ❄

The Beauchamps were off on another adventure and one a little more close to home. We had organised to go over to Dunedin & Invercargill on the South Island to attend Jeremy’s grandfather’s internment. Last time we were in New Zealand (Winter in Queenstown) it was more of a holiday/tourist trip but this time we were seeing all the family and really making memories with everyone as we travelled parts of the South Island together (all 8 of us in a van – squished like sardines lol!). It was so good to learn about Jeremy’s paternal family tree and all the heritage and history that came with it. I think it was unanimous that the time we spent together as a family was having Uncle George & Aunti Pirri along for the ride. The knowledge of countless Beauchamp stories were overflowing and we were so humbled by their presence. 60+ years of marriage from this couple made me yearn for the same with Jeremy & I (They were the definition of COUPLE GOALS ❤). We trekked (in our trusty Van) from Mosgiel, Invercargill, The Catlins, Papatowai, Parakanui Falls, Lanarch Castle & back to Dunedin. Below are some of my favourites form the trip and I hope you enjoy them just as much as we do!

Travel Adventures Part II: Europe

And off we continue to EUROPE! Landed in London on Christmas day so not too much was happening where we were staying. We then headed to Calais for France to start another Topdeck tour. Best moment in Paris was riding around the city on bicycles; someone cut their head a bit on the paved roads so GREAT way to start a tour! Sitting with a kitty in a café; that was the cherry on top. Oh, and the LOUVRE!! bucket list TICKED! Then off we headed to Engelberg, Switzerland. Mount Titlis was the peak we were so fortunate to head up to… Continue reading

Travel Adventures Part I: America

Where do I start? Jeremy and I saved up for about 2 years to make this adventure happen and boy did I catch the travel BUG! Taking photos is my passion and there was no way I wasn’t documenting this trip. I hope you can feel and sense the sights and sounds through these images. We started our one month holiday in Los Angeles-I have travelled to Africa, to Dubai and Malaysia…but this was a jetlag I had never felt in my life! Had some time before our Topdeck tour started so off we went to Universal Studios in Hollywood…. Continue reading

Winter in Queenstown

Seems to be an annual thing where we travel to different places during winter (see: Winter in Melbourne City). It’s something that is so needed for us as we get to pause on our busy schedules and fly away to spend some quality time without the extra buzz. I had never been to New Zealand before so off we went to the most tourist of all NZ destinations, Queenstown. By the time we landed, the snow was only covering the tips of the mountains; By the time we left the snow was about one-third down the mountains! The cold weather definitely took a turn fast (we were only there for 5 days)! Queenstown is naturally one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to yet; Crystal blue lake surrounded by gorgeous, green mountains. Because of Winter, the leaves were yellow, red warm colours and falling from the trees. We got to experience Fergburger & Fergbakery; oh man, their PIES are to die for!!! Also the local food and produce; we went on a River cruise farm & BBQ tour and visited Arrowtown. It was raining heavily by the time we visited Glenorchy, but we were still able to enjoy Queenstown and I was still able to take some snaps. We found a really cool trail on the side of a main road; litereally felt like we were in a scene from Twilight.Thank you Queenstown for your gorgeous, natural vibes & I hope you enjoy the snaps from this trip. Next Stop, AMERICA & EUROPE 2015-2016! Keep your eyes peeled!

P.S The very last photo is a collage of Jeremy crapping his pants on the sky rail (after that he was like a kid on the luge!)

Winter in Melbourne City

Oh the infamous Melbourne City. I had never been before and have been aching to for quite a while, and boy was my craving satisfied! Such a hip and quirky city, yet they don’t even try. Cute little laneways with awesome street art, you can’t go wrong. We caught up with our mate Ty, a now citizen of Melbourne, who showed us around and pretty much only mentioned amazing food places to experience (we weren’t bothered as we were ALL for FOOD). Such a nice time to relax, unwind and get away from the business of the season that my hubster and I are currently in and not to mention for our 2 year wedding anniversary. I hope you enjoy these little snippets of our Holiday, as we did.
P.s The hubster took a few photos himself and I’ve got to say, they’re not bad. I’ll need to start training him up for future shoots 😉

BBQ times with great friends! Love it when the journey of life gets you connected to people who you can share just that with! Looking forward to the next season and one of growth and expectation (not to mention, SURPRISES!).

P.s also added some shots of our ‘wonderful’ (one isn’t really a hat and the other contains poo likeness, lol) hats for T’s 40th Mad Hatter party and an update on our dog, Django. Man he has grown!
