Travel Adventures Part I: America

Where do I start? Jeremy and I saved up for about 2 years to make this adventure happen and boy did I catch the travel BUG! Taking photos is my passion and there was no way I wasn’t documenting this trip. I hope you can feel and sense the sights and sounds through these images. We started our one month holiday in Los Angeles-I have travelled to Africa, to Dubai and Malaysia…but this was a jetlag I had never felt in my life! Had some time before our Topdeck tour started so off we went to Universal Studios in Hollywood…. [Side note: I fangirled seeing Bumblebee and Optimus Prime- did. not. deal!] Our tour started in Santa Monica and our bus cruised around the rest of LA. These trips may already be mapped out for you but the free days are still included – I highly recommend a tour if you’re lazy with organising ;). Next stop: Las Vegas! Nothing can describe riding through Las Vegas; A city that truly never sleeps. You’re just in awe of a city that has been plonked in the middle of the Nevada desert. From there we had a day trip to the Grand Canyon – this will always be one of my most favourite sights of our travels. The majesty of the canyon needs to be witnessed with your very own eyes, I can’t explain the beauty of it! We totally weren’t expecting SNOW at the Grand canyon so that was a bonus! Next stop: Yosemite National Park – yet, another natural wonder that has no description for me to bring it justice. And more SNOWWWW!!! We still had Europe to go so our snow quota was being filled quick. The smell, the sights, the water, trees..TAKE ME BACK! And another attempt at Snowman making…Jeremy is turning pro with this 😉 Last stop of the tour was San Francisco: all of my personality in a city! The quirks, colours, freedom and accepting cultures- so much fun! To also be able to walk to the first Chinatown, places where writers, poets, artists and musicians started out (North Beach) -fangirl moment! This was our last stop with the tour group before New York. So thankful for the people we shared this leg with especially the kiwis brew 😉 – you guys know who to hit up if you’re in Brisvegas. Last American stop: New York, New York – My ultimate bucket list city ticked! It was everything I knew it would be; expectations met 🙂 Enjoy some of my favourite moments and snaps below.
